Pioneer Lines welcomes charter tour groups, corporate outings, and private groups onboard its passenger train. Taking a train ride, briefly passing the First Day’s Battlefield and then on through beautiful southern Pennsylvania countryside, make Pioneer Lines the perfect venue for group events. Magnificent, ever-changing views along with the old-fashioned charm of a train ride will combine to make memories for your group that will be everlasting, no matter what the age. TRAINS OPERATE ON REGULAR OR CUSTOMED SCHEDULES:
Our standard pricing is based upon tour groups riding the train on our regular schedule. We have ample railcars to accommodate lots of people, however, a dedicated passenger train can be arranged. If your group desires a train ride on a time other than our published schedule, additional charges and minimum passengers will apply.

FREE BUS PARKING:
Tour buses for groups riding our train can center their day’s activities around our historic Washington Street depot and parking lot. Before or after riding the train, the group can walk to dozens of shops, restaurants and other downtown Gettysburg attractions. Our air-conditioned depot and gift shop is open throughout the day during the summer months and other arrangements can be made as well to accommodate the needs of your group. All major battlefield bus tours can pick-up and drop off your group right from our parking lot.

COMMERCIAL USE OF EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES:
The Pioneer Lines can provide commercial use of its passenger train equipment, historic depot and facilities for use in movie projects and fashion shoots. SPECIAL NOTES:
All of our excursion trains have a smoke-free environment, and no pets are permitted on board.

Our coaches have limited access for our handicap patrons. Please contact us for details and every possible effort will be made to accommodate our guests. No refunds shall be issued for any train.

Railroad reserves the right to alter schedules, substitute coaches and/or motive power as operating conditions demand. The railroad is not responsible for lack of capacity or adverse weather conditions that prevent operations. Schedules are adhered to as closely as possible.
